Description
The Hikvision DS-KD-M is a card reader expansion module designed for the KD8 Pro series modular video intercom door station. It connects seamlessly to the main module (e.g. DS-KD8003-IME1) via two module-connecting interfaces and requires no separate power supply, drawing 12 VDC directly from an adjacent module. Backlight compensation ensures reliable card reading in challenging lighting conditions, while an IP65 rating makes it fully suitable for outdoor installation.
